After graduating with a degree in social work, I began my career working as a teacher at a local Montessori school where I enjoyed pouring into kids of various ages and backgrounds. Eventually, I transitioned back into the challenging but rewarding world of social work – specifically the foster care system. These years taught me resilience and empathy and gave me a unique perspective that has continued to shape me into the person I am today.
I served in this role for a few years before deciding to step into an administrative position within an IT company where I spent twelve years overseeing all things administration including books, scheduling, and paperwork. As an introvert, I enjoyed getting to immerse myself in these “behind-the-scenes” tasks and projects and found satisfaction in seeing them completed with excellence. More recently, I worked for another financial advisory firm as a Client Service Associate where I supported the advisors and worked proactively to help clients with any questions or financial needs.
In January 2022, I stepped into my current role with Covenant as a Client Concierge. I provide support for advisors and oversee paperwork operations, which ultimately supports the service our clients receive. I believe that my diverse professional background, along with my experience in finance has helped to equip me with the confidence to take on new challenges. I enjoy finding creative ways to meet needs and see projects through from start to finish.
While I am passionate about the work that I do, what truly sets my experience at Covenant apart is the people. The camaraderie, trust, and integrity within our team is what allows us to work effectively and efficiently to provide the best possible service to the clients that we serve.
Outside of work, you’ll often find me exploring nature with my husband (high school sweetheart:) and our two children who are 7 and 4. Whether we are hiking along a scenic trail, enjoying a relaxing beach day, or listening to live music in a park, we love to spend time together and make it a priority to create these cherished memories.
