Compelled to live out his personal mission to deliver trusted advice, President and CEO Ward Keever ignites the way for others to build financial security, realize their dreams, and form a lasting legacy. As a simple childhood interest in the stock market blossomed into a wonderful career, he found his true calling solving the complex planning needs of high-net-worth families and business owners. Although his knowledge of the financial industry has certainly come a long way since those early days, Ward’s enthusiasm and passion for the profession remains unchanged.
Prior to establishing his own firm in December of 1999, Ward earned an honors degree in finance and marketing from the University of Delaware, where he graduated Cum Laude. He began working for a regional planning organization following college, and continued his academic pursuits by earning additional designations as a Chartered Financial Consultant and Chartered Life Underwriter from the American College and Series 6, 7, 24, 63, and 65 securities registrations with LPL Financial. Today, education is a cornerstone of his leadership, as he instills a culture of continuous improvement and achievement by prioritizing the professional development of each of his stakeholders and empowering his clients to cultivate their financial knowledge.
Among Ward’s numerous accolades are memberships with the Estate Planning Council of Delaware, the Million Dollar Round Table, The Society of Financial Service Professionals, and the Wilmington Tax Group. He is particularly blessed to have been honored with the Top of the Table award for the past 8 years, marking him in the top half of the top 1% of financial advisors. Additionally, LPL has named him to their Chairman’s Council for his consistent ranking in the highest 2% of their 15,000 advisors.
Outside of work, Ward and his wife, Debbie, enjoy spending time with their sons Chip and Dan and their daughter-in-laws Natalie and Madeline. The family’s two Schnoodle dogs, Schnickers and Maggie, also hold a special place in Ward’s heart. Whenever possible, the whole gang hits the beach for boating, surfing, and more boating! Ward and Debbie are very active in their faith community, recently traveling to Romania to work with an impoverished Gypsy population. This overseas encounter strengthened Ward’s desire to be a bridge for the less fortunate both abroad and in the United States.
