“Inch by inch, growth is a cinch; yard by yard, growth is hard.” While this saying may sound a bit cliché, it has been a powerful source of accountability for me. It's easy to feel overwhelmed by seemingly impossible goals, but when we break the journey down into manageable steps, achieving those goals becomes much more attainable. This principle has proven true in my own life, whether as a musician, athlete, husband, or father. I am passionate about walking alongside individuals and families to help them reach their goals, step by step.
I graduated from Eastern University in 2009 and was honored to be named Eastern University’s first-ever Young Alumnus of the Year in 2013. My career began in the non-profit sector, working at The Garage Community and Youth Center where I had the privilege of working closely with students and families from diverse socio-economic backgrounds. Together, we identified goals, developed actionable pathways to success, and established the accountability needed to achieve those goals. In 2009, while still in the non-profit sector, I also began pastoring at a large non-denominational church. As a pastor, I not only had the opportunity to serve individuals and families but also helped guide an entire community toward realizing its collective goals. Working alongside other leaders and community members, we identified community wide goals, created strategies for success, and provided the support and encouragement necessary for our community to achieve those goals. My experiences in both the non-profit and pastoral sectors deeply instilled in me a desire to be a trusted advisor and a committed partner for those striving to reach their goals.
When I transitioned into financial services, my goal was to continue helping people set and achieve their goals, offering encouragement, advocacy, and support during some of the most important moments of their lives. Joining Covenant as a Client Concierge and a member of the financial planning team has allowed me to advocate for our clients. I work closely with our advisors to help clients identify their unique financial goals and guide them in achieving those goals. Through these close relationships, I have gained a deeper empathy for our client’s goals and individual circumstances. By collaborating with our advisors, I’ve been able to apply advanced financial planning tools and strategies, driving significant progress toward our clients’ financial aspirations.
Since transitioning into financial services, I have earned my Series 7, 63, 65, and Life and Health licenses (securities registrations currently held through LPL Financial), as well as my AIF® designation. I am committed to further education and additional designations to better serve my clients. However, I believe that education and designations are only valuable if the advisor-client relationship is built on trust. As I shared in an interview with Elevate Magazine, “I believe that relationships must be built on a foundation of trust and transparency. It is a privilege to step into the most sacred moments of an individual’s life to provide financial insight and guidance. I am honored to be part of a team that is dedicated to continuous growth and learning, ensuring we provide the support our clients need as they work toward their goals.”
Outside of work, I cherish time with my wife, Maggie, and our four children. Whether we’re playing in the yard, fishing, enjoying time in Ocean City, New Jersey, we love spending time together in nature, soaking in the beauty of creation. I also enjoy hiking (Mt. Washington is a personal favorite), participating in community outreach, cheering on Philadelphia sports teams, and gathering with friends and family around the table for a great meal.
