Since I was young, my parents emphasized the importance of the Golden Rule which says, “Treat others the way that you want to be treated”. I seek to live by this as a standard that drives me both personally and professionally and desire to instill this in my children as well.
I spent my undergraduate years playing on the Penn State Men’s Lacrosse team and studying Marketing with a Finance focus at the Penn State University Smeal College of Business. Soon after graduating, I accepted a position at Prudential Financial in their annuity business. From there, my passion for a career in the financial industry took off and over the next several years, I spent time working in financial services in a variety of different roles, most recently as a Regional Vice President for Lincoln Financial Retirement Plan Services. This opportunity allowed me to speak to and work with hundreds of financial advisors, which provided me with a unique perspective of how I would want to be treated as a client myself.
However, despite professional success, I longed to make a direct impact on people’s lives in a greater capacity. A pivotal moment came when my father suddenly passed away in 2013. It was through this experience that I realized firsthand the importance and impact of having an advisor who truly cares, and I knew that I wanted to provide this type of guidance to individuals and families as they navigate the highs and lows that life brings.
I joined Covenant in 2019 as a Wealth Advisor and member of the Investment Team. I have worked diligently to earn my designations and licenses including the Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA), Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF) and Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC), along with Series 6, 7, 63, 65 securities licenses, which are held with LPL Financial and my state insurance licenses. My goal is to serve as a valued “financial quarterback” for our clients.
At the end of the day, it always comes back to helping others. I truly care about the individuals and families that I work with and am passionate about using my background and experience to help them fulfil their dreams and pursue their financial goals.
Outside of the office, my family is my greatest joy! My wife Katie and I have a daughter, three young sons, and a dog (our first-born). Whether we are on the sidelines of a sporting event or making sandcastles on the beach, we enjoy being together as much as possible. I am still a big fan of lacrosse and spend a lot of time playing, coaching or watching. I also enjoy playing golf, reading or listening to books, and serving the community through involvement with non-profits and our church.
