As far back as I can remember, I have always enjoyed finding ways to meet needs and find solutions to problems – especially any problem involving numbers, formulas, or equations. As an Applied Mathematics and Statistics major, I took my first investment class in undergrad where I quickly fell in love with the practical application of mathematical concepts to improve people’s financial situations. The combination of numerical analysis and personal interaction drew me into the world of finance, and I quickly added coursework to complete the Financial Planning curriculum before graduating.
As I began to explore various opportunities following graduation, I knew I wanted to be part of a team where learning, growth, and making a real impact were at the core of what we do. One of my undergraduate professors advised me to, “Get somewhere where you can continue to learn” as the industry is ever changing, and you must be willing to adapt to be successful. I joined Covenant immediately after graduation in 2022 as Client Concierge and part of the Investment Team, which allowed me to fulfill these aspirations and find practical solutions to better the lives of the clients we serve. I quickly grew into the Investment Planner role and then in 2026, I progressed into the Wealth Advisor role.
Our team at Covenant takes a collaborative approach, which allows me to work closely with different members and departments, handling everything from daily trading, client support and service. I act as the primary trader in many areas and enjoy the responsibility and reward that comes along with this.
One of the most fulfilling aspects of my job is getting to interact directly with clients and see the impact that the work I do has on their lives. I find great satisfaction in meeting with individuals to understand their unique goals and providing them with the framework and support they need to pursue financial success. Whether this is through daily trading decisions or strategic rebalancing, I get to add value and contribute to their journey towards their personal objectives. It’s not about simply moving numbers around; it is about using thoughtful formulas and processes to achieve tangible results that allow our clients to fulfil their dreams and build lasting legacies.
I have embraced my professor’s earlier advice to “continue learning”, and since joining Covenant I have passed the SIE and have my 7 & 66 licenses held through LPL Financial. These registrations have provided me with applicable knowledge and background to further understand the nuances of the industry.
Outside of work I’m a huge sports fan and my wife, Anna, and I enjoy staying active and exploring nature. Whether we are playing soccer or volleyball, hitting the golf course, running a Spartan race or half marathon, or hiking a mountain, we love the thrill and adventure of exploring God’s creation. We also have become passionate about cooking and baking delicious meals to gather around and enjoy taking the time to do this together!
