Happy Thanksgiving! Ways To Express Your Gratitude This Year!

On behalf of Covenant Wealth Strategies, we would like to wish you and your family a wonderful Thanksgiving! Our office will be closed on Thursday, November 24th and Friday, November 25th so that our team can spend time with their families. We will resume normal operations on Monday, November 28th.

Please note: the markets will be closed on Thanksgiving Day. While our office will be closed on Friday, the markets will be open until 1 pm. If you need to make a trade during that time, please contact your primary relationship manager for assistance or contact LPL Financial directly at 1-800-877-7210. Please do not leave any trading instructions in voice mail, as we cannot act on them.

As we prepare the Thanksgiving meal and gather with family, gratitude is a word that comes to mind. Gratitude is an expression of appreciation for all we have in addition to being an affirmation of goodness and warmth.

This Thanksgiving, there are so many things for which to be grateful: our families, our health and our successes. Here are some ways you can express gratitude this Thanksgiving:
  • Pass the gratitude basket. Give everyone around your table a blank sheet of paper and a pen. Ask them to write down one thing they’re grateful for then put it in the basket. Then, pass the basket around and have people read others’ gratitude notes. You can then guess who wrote each one.

  • Put together a Thanksgiving scrapbook. Take a blank scrapbook and put in photos of family and friends who have gathered throughout the year; photos of all of the food served; add notes about special things that happened that day; recipes for the dishes and notes about who created each dish. Ask each person to write in the book what they are thankful for.

  • Be grateful to yourself. You can also compliment yourself. Make a list of ways you’ve impressed yourself lately – say it by looking in the mirror, writing it in a journal or jotting it on a sticky note and placing it on your refrigerator.

Speaking of gratitude, we are truly grateful for you and your decision to work with us. We hope your Thanksgiving is full of gratitude, good cheer and delicious food.

Happy Thanksgiving!
